The goal of our software, Oliasoft WellDesign was to gather all well design calculation into one integrated software solution.
All calculations from the Well Trajectories, Casing Design, Torque and Drag, Hydraulics, Tubing Design and Blowout & Kill. An integration of all of these calculations allows for both optimalisation and automation, which will make a huge impact on the well delivery process.
The well construction calculation chain contained many authority required calculations, and as of today these are solved by using a wide range of different software packages – also including third-party external companies.
Since Oliasoft was founded in 2015 the focus on digital solutions has massively increased. Since we built the software solution from scratch, we were able to take advantage of the new possibilities that comes along with modern software technology.
Reduces frequency of manual input
Like most automation initiatives, the removal of manual input handling will reduce the risk of human errors, improve the efficiency and enable optimal well designs.
