Stavanger | Oslo, Norway – September 19, 2023 – Oliasoft has been awarded a contract with Neptune Energy for its software, Oliasoft WellDesign® to be the future Well Engineering tool for Well planning and design.
Neptune Energy and Oliasoft have been working together since 2022, when Oliasoft won the “World Championship for Well planning” arranged by Neptune Energy. Furthermore, Oliasoft has had an R&D contract with Neptune Energy to enhance the capabilities of its Blowout & Kill module.
The contract further reinforces that Oliasoft WellDesign® is seen as a state-of-the-art software solution, designed to optimize well engineering and planning activities. Built on a modern software architecture, it allows for great flexibility in workflows and its advanced features streamline workflows, enhance decision-making, and deliver great efficiency gains. This aligns perfectly with Neptune’s vision of innovation and excellence in offshore drilling.
